The Exeltech XP125 24VDC is UL listed to 1950 for use in telecom applications. The unit has a manufacturer’s specification of mean time between failures of 21.5 years. The unit is designed for use with battery or battery-included system, so it is not recommended for use with a charger or power supply system that does not include a battery.
The unit also has a Low Battery/Thermal Buzzer alarm. If the DC input voltage falls to 2 to 4% of the lower limit of operation, a buzzer alarm is activated. This alarm is also activated if a critical thermal condition is encountered. It also has built-in over voltage protection. If the DC input voltage is exceeded, the unit instantly and immediately shuts down. The output power can also be exceeded by 10% for a limited amount of time. It weighs a total of 2 pounds and the case dimensions are 2.16” x 4.93” x 7.9” and optional rack mounting is available.
